The creator initially developed the narrative through real-time user feedback before rewriting it into a novel format for submission to publisher competitions. Although this manuscript did not secure an award at the Fujimi Fantasia Contest, GA Bunko editors recognized its potential when the author submitted other works, leading to its commercial publication.
